Each year, usually in early August, thousands of SRF members and spiritual seekers from all over the United States and about 45 other countries gather at the Westin Bonaventrue Hotel in downtown Los Angeles for a joyous and powerful week of  spiritual renewal. The gathering of so many God-attuned souls, combined with the wondrous blessings of God and the SRF Gurus, creates a palpable vibration that rejuvenates and transforms all those who come with receptive and devotion-filled hearts. 

Among the events of the Self-Realization Fellowship World Convocation are twice-daily group meditations, classes on Paramahansaji’s “How-to-Live” teachings, devotional chanting (kirtans), Kriya Yoga initiations, audio/video presentations, a workshop for SRF centers and meditation groups worldwide, opportunities for individual counseling on the teachings with monks and nuns, and pilgrimages to the ashram centers where Paramahansa Yogananda lived and communed with God.
